Engeset Trehytter (Tree Houses)

From the cabins, you can watch the mountains reflect in the fjord on a quiet summer morning and enjoy sunsets that stretch late into the evening. When darkness falls, lie in bed and gaze at the moon and starry sky through large panoramic windows.
The treehouses are organically built and carefully placed in harmony with nature. They gently sway with the wind, and birds nest in built-in birdhouses integrated into the wooden cladding. During the long, bright summer days, this is the perfect place to unwind after mountain biking, hiking or exploring the many experiences in Nordfjord.
The tree houses:
● Cabin 1 accommodates 2–3 guests and features a double bed and a hammock. Shared toilet facilities in a separate building together with Cabin 2.
● Cabin 2 accommodates 5–7 guests and is built over two floors – ideal for families and larger groups. Shared toilet facilities in a separate building together with Cabin 1.
● Cabin 3 is the newest treehouse and accommodates up to 4 guests, with a double bed and sofa bed. This cabin has a private toilet and step-free access, making it suitable for wheelchair users and families with strollers.
A separate shower cabin is available: an experience in itself. Water is heated in the kitchen, mixed in buckets and carried outside. The result is a simple yet memorable shower with panoramic views of fjord and mountains. Simple, authentic and unforgettable.
Within walking distance lies Trivselsskogen, offering an extensive network of hiking trails and nature experiences. There is always something to enjoy around the treehouses, no matter the season.
In autumn, experience life among the treetops as the leaves fall. In winter, freshly prepared cross-country ski trails await at Kleivane Ski Stadium, along with spectacular ski touring opportunities in the surrounding mountains. Spring brings new life, birdsong and playful lambs around the farm.
Despite the peaceful setting in the treetops, Sandane town centre is just a short distance away. Here you will find swimming and climbing facilities at Trivselshallen, the renowned Gloppen Hotell, and the vibrant Lauget Café and Kultur.
