Nygård Camping

Camping | Stay among the high mountains of Hjelledalen at Nygård Camping. Choose from cabins and camping pitches, with a bakery and café and easy access to fjords, mountains and nature.

The campsite is a short drive from Geiranger, 16 km from Stryn Summer Ski Centre, 9 km from the Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre and 3 km from the idyllic village of Hjelle. Hjelle is easily reached by walking or cycling along the gravel road. The campsite is 30 km from Stryn town centre and approximately 38 km from Loen Skylift.

Nygård Camping is a family-friendly campsite with a playground, trampoline and pedal go-karts for children and adults. There are also scooters available, while a pump track and skate ramps are within walking distance.

The campsite has its own bakery and café, where guests can buy freshly baked goods for breakfast, including Brix and freshly baked cinnamon buns.

In the afternoon and evening, hot food is available, including burgers, fries and the popular pizza. The food is prepared in the bakery at Nygård Camping.

The campsite has six cabins with a living room and loft. All cabins have a shower and toilet, as well as a kitchen with crockery, dishwasher, hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kettle.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The cabins accommodate 2–7 people.

Nygård Camping is beautifully located between high mountains in Hjelledalen.

The campsite also has a pub and café with its own bakery. The sanitary facilities include a washing machine and dryer, and there is a shared kitchen with a hob, oven, microwave and kettle. The showers are operated by a shower timer.

There are 16 electrical hook-up points for caravans and motorhomes.
