Årskogvika Camping

The four cabins are situated in the sun right of the beach at Lote in the middle of Nordfjord, and have the most magnificent fjord view. In the summer you can almost touch the cruise ships that passes the whole summer through.

You can sit by the shore to see four fjords meet, swim, enjoy the sun which mirrors in clucked waves, or together with family or friends take shorter or longer day trips to natural and cultural experiences in region from Sogn to Ålesund.

In the winter this is a good location for family and friends to spend the nights after some hectic winter activity, whether you will try downhill or cross country skiing in the many slopes and prepared tracks in the area, or try off-pist in unspoiled nature in Nordfjord.

Spacious cabins and camping by the fjord

Årskogvika Camping has four high-standard, winter-insulated cabins accommodating up to five people. The cabins are well equipped with a kitchenette, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and a veranda with views of the fjord and mountains.

For those looking for a simpler option, «Bua» is a cosy cabin accommodating up to three people. It has a kitchenette, while showers and toilets are available in the campsite's shared facilities.

The campsite also has a small tent area right by the water, offering beautiful views of the fjord. Guests arriving with motorhomes or caravans can choose from secluded pitches close to both the road and the fjord. All camping guests have access to shared facilities with showers, toilets and a laundry room.

If you want to experience the fjord from the water, you can rent a boat at the campsite – whether you want to go fishing, explore the fjord or simply enjoy a relaxing trip on the water.
