Sandane is known for being a very challenging course with narrow fairways and small greens, as well as a powerful panoramic view of Eidsfossen, Gloppenelva and Ryssdalshornet in the background. The golf course is located by the Gloppen River which is a good salmon river, so here you will often see salmon fishermen throughout the entire fishing season.
