Breimsvatnet is a lake located to the west in the village of Breim in Gloppen municipality, but it also extends south to Jølster. With its 278 depth meters, the lake is the county's second deepest, and the country's 12th deepest. Surrounded by high mountains, Breimsvatnet is a beautiful photographic object.

Breimsvatnet, as one of the few lakes in Sogn and Fjordane, has a documented population of large trout, and is known for good fishing conditions.
