There are two stories associated with this ring-shaped stone. The first tells how bridal parties came to this stone and how the bride was made to crawl through it under everyones´s gaze. If she managed it, everything was fine; if not she was probably pregnant. The other story tells how the dairymaids from the mountain farms in the area had to go through the stone when they arrived at the mountain pastures in May and then do so again when their work was finished in late summer - to see if they had behaved "immorally" during their period of service.
